Kampo Heneral Paciano Rizal – PCOL HAROLD P DEPOSITAR, Officer-in-Charge, LagunaPolice Provincial Office (PPO), reports to PBGENPAUL KENNETH T LUCAS, Acting Regional Director, PRO-CALABARZON, the seizure of an eight hundred eighty-four (PHP884,000.00) worth of suspected shabu and the arrest of four suspects in a joint drug buy-bust operation in Cabuyao City in the afternoon today, October 11.
PCOLDEPOSITAR identified the suspects as alias Amino, Jalilah, Normalah, and Jalil, all residents of Calamba City.
In the report of POLICE LIEUTENANTCOLONEL JOHN ERIC B ANTONIO, Chief of Police, Cabuyao Component City Police Station, personnel of Drug Enforcement Unit of Cabuyao CCPS together with the Provincial Intelligence Unit(PIU), conducted the operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspects after being caught in the act of selling a sachet of suspected shabu to the police officer who posed a poseur buyer.
Subsequent frisking led to the discovery of a transparent plastic bag containing suspected shabu on suspect Amino, while a one-thousand-peso (PHP1,000.00) bill and nine(9) pieces of one-thousand-peso (PHP1,000.00) bills used as boodle money during the buy-bust operation were recovered and a mobile phone in color blue was confiscated from suspect Jalilah.
Moreover, suspect Normalah was found to be in possession of a sachet containing suspected shabu, while another sachet containing suspected shabu was discovered on suspect Jalil.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence suspected as illegal drugs with estimated weight of 130.00 grams and with assessed street value of PHP 884,000.00 were brought to the Regional Forensic Unit-4A in Calamba City, Laguna for drug test and laboratory examination.
Pertinent documents are now being prepared for filing of a case for violation of RA 9165against the suspects.
